1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth, that a National Sailing Championship will take place between Saturday 12 August and Monday 14 August 2023 in the Eastern Solent.
2. There will be approximately one hundred and fifty ‘RS Tera’,10 ft sailing dinghies competing.
3. Racing will take place to the approximately 1 mile to the west of the Wootton Creek approach channel. The water-skiing area will not be available during this time.
4. Racing starts at 0800 each day and will be complete by 1600.
5. The principal committee vessel is a white 10m power driven catamaran named ‘Cowes United’. Which will be supported by two mark laying RHIBS.
6. Additionally, there will be 10 other RHIBS acting as further support, jury and marshal craft.
7. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass well clear of the competing vessels and the support craft during this event.
