1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that diving operations and maintenance works will be conducted on all sections of the Hulk Moorings owned and operated by Wightlink Ferries Ltd, located on the eastern side of Portsmouth Harbour, off the Portsmouth Harbour Station commencing from 28 October 2023 and expected to last until February 2024.

2. Diving operations will be conducted by RS Divers using their dive boat with all other aspects of the marine works, which include the towage phase, being carried by Baker Trayte Marine Ltd, using their either the Multi-Cat Tug “UNCLE BILL” (LOA 13.2m), MPV "BULLDOG" (LOA 14.8m), Tug “FORCEFUL” (LOA 15m) and the spud-leg Crane Barge “ASNE” (LOA 40m).

3. The dive support boat will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 11 during operations and display Flag Alpha when diving is taking place.

4. Each section (Barge) of the Hulk moorings will be removed and towed to Trafalgar Wharf for refurbishment and whilst each section is absent 1.5m diameter Lit Yellow Buoys (Fl Y. 4s) will be attached to each individual mooring chain risers.   

5. Mariners are requested to keep well clear of this location and not attempt to transit between the Hulk Moorings and the Harbour station whilst works are being undertaken.
