Elite reservists who’re ready for anything

The Royal Marines Reserve is a key part of our overall ‘trained strength’, an elite team of 600 we call on to support the Naval Service.

Dedicated, committed and always fighting fit, these reservists are cut from different cloth. Whether they’re honing their skills on exercise or representing the Royal Navy out in the community, the Royal Marines Reserve is a force to be reckoned with. Just as elite as their regular counterparts, these highly trained personnel are the best of the best – with successful civilian careers to boot.

To make it in the Royal Marines Reserve, you need grit, determination and courage – the same state of mind and preparedness as a regular Royal Marines Commando. In return, we promise amazing experiences, real camaraderie, true brotherhood and a personal journey like no other.

Meet the team...

The attraction of the Royal Marines is I’m 47, and I wanted to see if I could make it with one of the most elite units in the world. I fancied it as a challenge. As a vicar reading about Iraq and Afghanistan over the last few years, I developed a real affinity with what people were going through. I felt I could offer something to people in the services.
