LNTM No 53/23

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth that underwater inspection works involving diving and surface operations will be conducted daily between 0800 – 2000 from the 30 May to 1 June 2023 on HMS Warrior’s mooring cables (chains).

2. Diving works will be conducted on the after mooring cables by SeaTec Divers, the  sentry / safety vessel to be used is a A380 RHIB (LOA 4.0m) and be positioned west of the operation area, callsign “SeaTec Divers”, which will remain on station while the diving work is being conducted and will display the appropriate signals when diving operations are being conducted. HMS Warrior will also fly Flags Alpha and Romeo Yankee. Normal permission to dive will be obtained from KHM Harbour Control.

3. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass the support RIB with a wide berth and at slow speed. This will be particularly important for the operations on the after cables where the divers will be someway out into the channel and thus exposed to passing traffic.

5. Cancel this LNTM on 3 June 2023.
