1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that as part of the QEC Capital Dredge, bed levelling will be conducted at the eastern end of the Swashway, between Hamilton Bank and Spit Bank, from 22-30 December 2016. The contractor for the works is Boskalis Westminster Ltd.
2. The vessel conducting this task will be the “NORMA” (LOA 27M), a multi-purpose bed leveller using a plough dredge. She will display the appropriate signals from the COLREGS when conducting dredging operations.
3. All dredging operations in vicinity of the Swashway will be closely monitored by QHM Harbour Control who will de-conflict this activity from the regular passenger traffic. Harbour Control may be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 023 9272 3694 for the latest information.
4. Cancel this LNTM 31 December 2016.
