1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen's Harbour Master Portsmouth that a flotilla of eleven RC44 performance racing yachts will be racing in vicinity of Spit Bank, between 11:30 and 17:00 on each day, from Tuesday 12th until Sunday 17th July 2016.
2. The RC44s are light displacement, high performance one-design monohull racing yachts, which will be accompanied by a number of Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boats (RHIBs).
3. Each day the course will be set by a series of temporary race marks, within the area depicted below. This does not constitute an exclusion zone and the boats remain responsible for complying with the International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea and will remain 100 metres clear of warships and the Stehmat 87 Crane Barge.
4. All mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and wherever practicable, avoid impeding the vessels while they are racing.
5. Cancel this Local Notice to Mariners 18 July 2016.
