1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that “Boskalis” will be continuing Bathymetric survey works within Portsmouth Harbour and the Main Approach channel in support of the Capital Dredge Program until 13 December 2016.

2. The survey vessel conducting the Bathymetric operations is the 12.4m monohull (white upper over a blue hull) “Smit Neyland” which is operational up to seven days a week but limited to day light hours only.

3. The “Smit Neyland” will continue (weather dependent) with a full “Baseline” survey of the Harbour which includes the major navigation channels, as far north as Bedenham and the entrance to Port Solent Marina, to the west of Burrow Island and into Haslar Creek. 

4. The vessel maintains a listening watch on VHF Channel 11 during operations, and displays appropriate shapes (Ball-Diamond-Ball in a vertical line) or lights (Red-White-Red in a vertical line) when working.

5. Mariners are requested to keep well clear of the vessel while surveying if practicable, and to liaise early with the vessel if in any doubt as to its intentions.
