SURVEY OPERATIONS TIPNER 6 - 10 MAY 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth that Surveying Operations will be conducted off the Tipner Area of Horsea Island in Portsmouth Harbour by Sand Geophysics Ltd over two days between 6 to 10 May 2024

2. The contractor for these survey works will be using their catamaran “VALIDUS” (LOA 7.0m) with the possibility of towed equipment being deployed. The vessel will display the appropriate signals when conducting survey operations, with all works being completed between 0800 -1900 on the dates indicated.

3. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass at slow speed while surveying operations are being conducted. The survey craft will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch 11 throughout operations.

4. KHM Harbour Control will be kept informed of work in progress and will de-conflict movements with other marine traffic. They can be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 02392 723689 for the latest information.
