MINOR SURVEY OPERATIONS TIDAL BASIN HMNB PORTSMOUTH 29 JANUARY 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth that Seabed Sampling Operations will be conducted in the maintained areas of the Tidal Basin area and D Lock Entrance (W) within HM Naval Base Portsmouth on 29 January 2024.  
 
2. The contractor for these minor sampling works will be Ecospan Environmental Ltd using the multi-cat vessel MV “COASTAL SURVEYOR” (LOA 7.9m). The vessel will display the appropriate signals when conducting survey operations, working daily during daylight hours only.

3. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass at slow speed while sampling works are being conducted. The vessel will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch 11 throughout operations. 
 
4. KHM Harbour Control will be kept informed of work in progress and will de-conflict movements with other marine traffic. They can be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 02392 723689 for the latest information.
