1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that routine maintenance dredging will be conducted by ML (UK) Dredging Ltd within the footprint of Gosport Marina, commencing on the 15 September 2022 and expected to last until approximately late December 2022. The works will be conducted 24 hours a day. 2. The vessels conducting this task will be either “WITTON II” or “BOXER” (Backhoe dredgers) which will display the appropriate signals from the COLREGS when conducting their operations. Spoil from the dredging vessels will be loaded into one of two self-propelled barges, “SPLIT TWO” or “SPLIT THREE” for disposal to the NAB Spoil Ground. 3. QHM Harbour Control will be informed of the vessels daily area of operations and may be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 02392 723694 for the latest information. Their movements will be de-conflicted from other movements by QHM Harbour Control in the usual manner. 4. Cancel this LNTM 31 December 2022.
