1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen's Harbour Master Portsmouth that on Sunday 15 May 2022 a Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier will anchor in Charlie Anchorage in the central Solent. Timings will be detailed on QHM Movements and are subject to change. The vessel is expected to return to sea on the same day. 

2. While a Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier is underway within the Dockyard Port of Portsmouth, the provisions detailed in QHM Local Notice to Mariners 13/22 will be in force. Specifically, as detailed in QHM General Direction 02/13, an exclusion zone of 250m radius around the aircraft carrier will be in force. 

3. While the aircraft carrier is at anchor, as detailed in LNTM 13/22 and authorised in QHM General Direction 2/18, an exclusion zone of 150m radius will be in force.  

4. When the zone is activated all vessels underway, except those involved in the escort or specifically authorised by the escort commander, are to remain clear of the exclusion zone. 

5. Cancel this Local Notice to Mariners 17 May 2022.
