1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that as part of the IFA2 Interconnector Project, Salvage and Diving operations are due to take place in the eastern Solent from 22 May – 30 June 2019 in order recover pre-identified items of interest that lie within the confines on the planned cable route.

2. The salvage works are being conducted by James Fisher Marine Services using the multicat “STOUR” (LOA 27m, MMSI 235089454) and a multicat crane barge “DOREEN DORWARD” (LOA 30.5m, MMSI 235087268), with a diving safety RHIB and a Crew Vessel in attendance.  

3. The operation will focus on the nearshore zone in the vicinity of Daedalus Slip, Lee-on-the-Solent during daylight hours only.  Vessels are requested to remain away from the works and pass at a safe speed and distance (approximately 500m) from all working vessels and support craft. Flag ALPHA will be displayed when divers are operating.  The vessels will monitor VHF Channels 12 and 16 at all times.
