1. This notice is a direction by the Queens Harbour Master Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 1999.

2. Engineering works to replace Beacon No.2 will take place in The Bridge Channel from 13 – 19 July 2016.

3. The works will comprise drilling and crane activities onboard a barge moored in The Bridge Channel. The barge will be supported by a workboat (Severn Seas) and a RIB. The works will also entail diving operations. Appropriate shapes will be displayed by all vessels as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.

4. The yellow temporary buoy marking the position of Bridge Beacon No.2 (Plymnavwarn 01-15 refers) will be removed during the works.

5. From 1800 on Wed 13 Jul 16 until 2359 on Tuesday 19 Jul 16, passage through The Bridge Channel is prohibited for all vessels not directly involved in the engineering works. Mariners are directed to keep well clear and minimise wash when navigating in the vicinity of the works.
