SURVEY OPERATIONS

1. This notice is issued for information by the Queen’s Harbour Master Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 1999.

2. RV “Coastal surveyor” and RV “Inshore Surveyor” will be conducting survey operations within Plymouth Sound, the Hamoaze and wider Estuaries from the 16 May 2016 for approximately four weeks.

3. Surveying will include the deployment of seabed samplers. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance from the survey vessel and minimise wash due to restrictions in her ability to manoeuvre.
