Strength Training

A truly valuable weight training programme should be individualised and bespoke to you, put together by a qualified coach or experienced PT and take your health, training history, goals and ambition to ensure success. Our videos can supplement this.

Training to Your strengths

Individualising a training programme that's bespoke to you allows you to optimise your routines, exercises, rests and approach, and ensure you achieve your fitness potential.

Ideally, you'll work with a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach and/or experienced Physical Trainer that has: screened you with a health questionnaire, asked questions about your training history and understood your training goals. You should also work together to ensure your commitment according to your ability to plan and achieve programme compliance, and by allocating specific training days/times around your daily and weekly schedule.

It's also optimal for you and your coach to conduct some form of movement screening or physical assessment before putting the programme together - a video for which will be hosted on our Flexibility Training page.

Completing such a screening looks at your current mobility, competency and strength, helping identify an appropriate starting point in terms of programme complexity, volume and loading.

The results of this screening should then be assessed against your training goals and aims.
