1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that routine maintenance dredging will conducted by ML (UK) Dredging Ltd within the Hornet Services Sailing Club Marina and Fort Blockhouse (Dolphin Pool) including the approaches to the Submarine Museum (Alliance) commencing 2 April 2018 and will be conducted over three phases completing by end May 2018. The works will be conducted 24 hours a day. 

2. The vessels conducting this task will be either “Witton II” or “Boxer” (Backhoe dredgers) which will display the appropriate signals from the COLREGS when conducting their operations.  Spoil from the dredging vessels will be loaded into one of two self-propelled barges, “Split Two” or “Split Three” for disposal to the NAB Spoil Ground.

3. QHM Harbour Control will be informed of the vessels daily area of operations and may be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 023 9272 3689 for the latest information. Their movements will be de-conflicted from other movements by QHM Harbour Control in the usual manner.
