1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen's Harbour Master Portsmouth that Surveying Operations and Maintenance Dredging will be conducted in the maintained areas within Portsmouth Harbour and its approach channels from 29 October to 8 November 2017. 2. The contractor for the works will be Boskalis Westminster Ltd using the "plough" vessel "NORMA" (LOA 27m) with the support vessel "SMIT ROMNEY" carrying out survey operations. Both vessels will display the appropriate signals when conducting survey and dredging operations. Works will be conducted daily between 0700 to 1900. 3. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass at slow speed while dredging operations are being conducted. A listening watch will be maintained on VHF Ch 11 throughout. 4. QHM Harbour Control will be kept informed of work in progress and de-conflicting movements with other marine traffic. They can be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 02392 723689 for the latest information. 5. Cancel this LNTM on 15 November 2017.
