1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that as part of the IFA2 Interconnector Project, nearshore Survey works are to take place in the Eastern Solent by Prysmian Powerlink on behalf of the National Grid commencing on the 5 August 2020 with intended completion by the 18 August 2020.

2. The areas to be surveyed are highlighted on the chartlet below with the work being undertaken by the vessels “TSM OUESSANT” (MMSI 228387800; Call Sign FLZM) and “COASTAL OBSERVER” (MMSI: 232025120; Call Sign: MGIQ9) ROV equipment will be used and towed astern from each vessel as required.

3. Both vessels will have restricted manoeuvrability while undertaking underwater operations. Vessels are requested to pass at a safe speed and distance and fishing vessels are advised to remain a safe distance (approximately 500m) from the works areas identified. The vessel will monitor VHF Channel 11 and 12 at all times.
