MAINTENANCE DREDGING – TRAFALGAR WHARF (RE-ISSUED)

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that routine maintenance dredging will be conducted by ML (UK) Dredging Ltd at Trafalgar Wharf, works will be carried out between 28 June – 7 July 2021. The works are being conducted 24 hours a day. 

2. The vessels conducting this task are the “BOXER” (Spud legged backhoe dredger) assisted by the tug “DEBEN TROY”. Both vessels will display the appropriate signals from the COLREGS when conducting their operations.  Spoil from the dredging vessel will be loaded into the self-propelled barge “SPLIT 2” for disposal to the NAB Spoil Ground. Additionally, two smaller work boats, “JESSY L” and  “AVONBANK” will be employed in the operation, as required.

3. QHM Harbour Control may be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 02392 723689 for the latest information. Dredging vessel movements will be de-conflicted from other movements by QHM Harbour Control in the usual manner.
