Keeping the crew ship shape at sea

Storyline: Adventurous Training

The Deployed Regional Unit (DRU) deliver a tailored professional development package to Royal Navy Ship’s Company.

During the ship’s Fleet Time Support Period (FTSP), two highly trained personnel have been strategically deployed to offer a diverse range of activities, including SUP, climbing, mountain biking, various sports, and an exhilarating indoor skydiving taster session in a state-of-the-art simulator.

Concurrently, the DRU provide essential support to ensure the availability of Royal Navy Fitness Tests (RNFTs) and circuit training for all units currently deployed within the United Kingdom Naval Support Facility (UKNSF).

These comprehensive packages are accessible to all Royal Navy and Royal Marines frontline units, and interested parties are encouraged to contact their Physical Training office for further information on this exceptional opportunity for professional development and fitness enhancement.
