Lowland walking can be described as well signposted walking routes in the countryside or along the coast which are easily accessible from most UK base locations.

Generally, this activity requires minimal map reading skills, but works to build confidence by following a sign posted track, usually a footpath or bridleway, while leading a group of up to and including six personnel.
