PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 049/19
THANKES JETTY – NEW WORKS
HAMOAZE, RIVER TAMAR - INFORMATION
1. This notice is for information by the Queen’s Harbour Master, Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port Order 1999.
2. Construction works for a new fuelling jetty in the vicinity of Thanckes Lake and Wilcove Lake (50° 22.992’N, 004° 11.695’W) are underway. Works are expected to be ongoing until year end 2020.
3. Works will include site investigation, piling, marine construction and demolition, and diving operations. Vessels will include flat top barges, crane barges, tugs and work boats. All vessels associated with the works will display appropriate signals as required by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
4. Mariners are requested to keep well clear and reduce wash adjacent to the works.
5. This PLNTM supersedes and cancels PLNTM 020/19
