PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 20/19
THANKES JETTY – NEW WORKS
HAMOAZE, RIVER TAMAR - INFORMATION
1. This notice is for information by the Queen’s Harbour Master, Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port Order 1999.
2. Construction works for a new fuelling jetty in the vicinity of Thanckes Lake and Wilcove Lake (50° 22.992’N, 004° 11.695’W) will commence on 10 Jul 18. Works are expected to be ongoing until Sep 19.
3. Works will include site investigation, piling, marine construction and diving. Vessels will include flat top barges, crane barges, tugs and work boats. All vessels associated with the works will display appropriate signals as required by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
4. Mariners are requested to keep well clear and reduce wash adjacent to the works.
