Diary, PLNTMs, Plymnavwarns, the Daily Movements Programme and a plethora of
    recreational information.
  8. THE DAILY MOVEMENTS PROGRAMME
The Movements signal is a message issued at 1100 GMT daily that gives details of
known shipping movements in and out of the port for the following day. Movement
messages for Saturday, Sunday and Monday are issued on Fridays. The message
primarily covers Naval and Ferry shipping movements. It consequently should not be relied
upon for traffic in and out of the Cattewater where commercial practices apply. The
message also gives tidal information, sunrise and sunset times, and the status of PLNTM
and PLYMNAVWARNS. It is primarily for Naval authorities but other mariners may find it of
assistance. Organisers of sail racing events in the Sound or Hamoaze are encouraged to
use this facility. Notwithstanding the programmed movements, mariners are reminded that
it is but a plan; it may change, and may thus not represent what is truly happening. It
should be consulted after 1200 daily for the following day’s shipping movements. Leisure
users are to be aware there is a sanitised copy of movements which is posted on the web
    at the following site:
