UNCREWED SURFACE VESSEL OPERATIONS SOUTH RAILWAY JETTY 30 APRIL 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) operations will take place in Portsmouth Harbour on 30 April 2026.

2.  The USV, K3 SCOUT, will be operated adjacent to South Railway Jetty (SRJ). The USV deployment is limited to the extremities of SRJ and will avoid the main navigable channel. A support craft, ‘OZ’, will provide safety oversight.

3. The USV will be towed to/from the SRJ operating area and will not be operated in remote or autonomous mode in any other location within Portsmouth Harbour.

4. The deployment will take place between 1400 and 1500. The USV will be operated in remote mode within visual line of sight of the operator. Notwithstanding the exclusion zone around the naval base, mariners are requested to pass at slow speed.

5. The operator will be listening on VHF Ch 11.

6. Cancel this LNTM on 1 May 2026.
