PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 053/26 - INFORMATION
MAINTENANCE DREDGING AT HMNB DEVONPORT

This notice is issued for information by the King’s Harbour Master (KHM) Plymouth.

Maintenance dredging operations will take place in HMNB Devonport (approximate position 50°23.34’N 004° 11.10’W), to commence on 12 August 2026 for approximately 4 Weeks.

The works will be by Suction Dredger (SD).

The following vessels will be utilised to complete the works:
Pheonix – Suction Dredger
Sea Eagle – Survey Vessel

Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when passing vessels engaged in dredging and surveying operations.
