PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 037/26 - INFORMATION

HMNB DEVONPORT MAINTENANCE DREDGING AT 3 BASIN ENTRANCE

1. This notice is issued for information by the King’s Harbour Master Plymouth.

    

2. Maintenance dredging operations in the vicinity of 3 Basin Entrance (HMNB Devonport – North Yard) will commence on 18 June 2026 until further notice.

3. The work will be carried out using a submersible pump fixed to the quay wall. No disposal of material at sea will occur during this campaign.

    

4. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when passing the entrance to 3 Basin (50°22.48'N, 004°11.07'W).
