HMS Cambria is the Royal Naval Reserve Unit associated with Cardiff.

Being the only RNR unit in Wales, HMS Cambria’s reservists regularly fly the White Ensign for the Royal Navy at high profile ceremonial events throughout the region.

Training Evenings take place every Wednesday 1930-2130. 

Open Presentation evening to potential RNR candidates is the last Wednesday of each month 19:15-21:15, please call or e-mail if you're interested and would like to attend.

Unit History

Present Site1947

Commissioned in 1947, HMS Cambria subsequently moved to its present site, the former Service Married Quarters at Sully near Barry.

Redesign, Conversion & Construction1980

After a redesign, conversion and construction, the present buildings of HMS Cambria were opened on the 15th of October, 1980.
