Commanding Officer

Lt Luke Robinson RN

  • Joined Royal Navy as an Air Engineering Officer in September 2016
  • Deployed on QEC, T45, T23 and RFA in UK, Middle East, Med and Baltic
  • Appointed to CO URNU Liverpool in June 2022
 

Coxswain

CPO Zak Daly

  • Joined the Royal Navy in 2001
  • Submarine Catering Services
  • Served onboard SSBN and SSN class Submarines
  • SNCO Bank Manager at Hamworthy Barracks

Senior Training Officer

SLt Carew

  • Joined the URNU in 2013 as an undergraduate then became a Training Officer in 2017
  • Employed, in civilian life, as a Chartered Surveyor specialising in commercial property
  • Passionate about teaching students and developing their leadership and knowledge of the maritime environment
 

Unit Administrative Officer

Phil Fearns

  

  • Joined the Ministry of Defence - Civil Service in March 2018, previously worked for 26 years in the financial industry

  • Appointed to Liverpool/Manchester and Salford URNU March 2023

  • Primary duties are to assist in the administration of the unit’s activities
