As an Officer Cadet, you’ll get to experience life in the Royal Navy, gaining transferable skills and qualifications, deploying in Royal Navy ships and playing representative sports.
It’s a unique experience that could see you doing fast ship manoeuvres in the Baltic, skiing in the Alps, skydiving in England, canyoning and hiking in Scotland and taking part in local water sports, all in one year – all while getting paid!

The Coxswain supports the Commanding Officer and deputises as required. They are responsible for the day to day running of the unit and activities.
The Unit Administration Officer is responsible to the Commanding Officer for carrying out the administration of unit activities.
Lt Jon Swift RNR
The Senior Training Officer is responsible for assisting in the training and instruction of all Officer Cadets and activities. They are also responsible for managing the other Training Officers in the unit.
