The ship’s company of RFA Wave Ruler never know what challenges they will face on a given deployment, whether it be countering piracy, providing humanitarian relief, assisting in a medical emergency, or evacuating UK and other nationals from areas of conflict.
The fuel and stores that Wave Ruler provides allow these ships to remain operational for extended periods of time – sometimes months or even years.
From the Indian Ocean to the Gulf, RFA Wave Ruler’s role is to patrol the operational area and provide support to Royal Navy and coalition warships.
