The day started with a wide spread raid of the classrooms which left the neighbouring Royal Navy Navigation school looking bare and envious. As visitors flooded in and worked their way up to the college’s front doors, just to the right of the main entrance they found lots of souvenirs and information on the RFA.
Many visitors wandered up intrigued by all the pictures, information and a model of the now no longer in service RFA Gold Rover.
We set out with the aim to increase awareness of the RFA and motivate potential new recruits; both were achieved

All of them left with a greater understanding of the RFA’s key roles within the Royal Navy. However, others left inspired and armed with information about possible future careers.
Senior RFA training officer at BRNC 2/O Garry Owen commented, “We set out with the aim to increase awareness of the RFA and motivate potential new recruits; both were achieved."
