Tennis

Whether new to the sport, or an experienced player looking to compete at a higher level, we provide support and guidance to help you smash your goals and ace your ambitions.

Royal Navy Tennis

Our aim is to recruit and develop new and upcoming players giving them the opportunity to progress to Inter-Service and Combined Service levels.

Regular training sessions are held at HMS Temeraire throughout the season, alongside competitive and fun competitions and events. Selection for the Service teams allow the elite players to compete in a high-level tournament played at Wimbledon late in the Summer.

Above everything else though, tennis should be easily accessible to anyone with an interest - and we aim to provide an inclusive and fun environment where all members can fulfil their potential whatever that may be.

Get involved

We are here to serve up tennis to as many personnel as possible and welcome players of all experience and abilities. With the chance to develop, train, and compete, we aim to play three fixtures as well as an annual championship and, if you're interested, you'll be selected for a team which suits your standard of play.

We also aim to raise funds for the RMC throughout the season, with various social fund-raising events.

To get involved, just get in touch.
