Learn, compete, and experience one of the oldest art forms. Equestrian sport in the Royal Navy is open to all abilities and skills.
Saddle up
You don’t need to own a horse or be a trained rider to enjoy equestrian sport with the Royal Navy. Our aim is to support and nurture your relationship with the sport and the animals through continuous engagement and learning.
We encourage everyone to explore the joy of equestrian sports and make the most of its benefits, including physical fitness, mental well-being, leadership skills, and community building. You don’t even have to ride. Horses take a village, so if you want to just be around these majestic animals, you're welcome to join us. We’re always looking for support on the ground for our riders at competitions and to keep the association active.
For riders at advanced and competitive levels, you'll get to take advantage of continuous training and develop your skills for inter-service and international competitions.
