Game, set, match
Whether you’re an experienced player or picking up a racket for the very first time, Royal Navy tennis is for everyone. Teamwork, fitness, and fun are just some of the benefits you’ll enjoy when you start playing.
Getting into the sport is easy with our weekly training session at Portsmouth Indoor Tennis Centre. Grassroots events take place regularly throughout the year and the annual Royal Navy Tennis Championships are open to all. For novice players, the championship tournament is a great way to experience the competitive side of the game.
If you’re ready to compete at a higher level and represent the Royal Navy at home and abroad, qualified players can go on to compete at Inter-Service challenges and tournaments.
We also support those who want to go beyond playing, offering pathways to help you train, develop, and qualify as a coach or umpire.
