HaveA SplashwithPaddle Sports
Join the community behind one of the fastestgrowing sports in the Royal Navy.
Whether you want a relaxed paddle on sheltered water or the adrenaline of whitewater, surf, or competition, there’s a place for everyone in Royal Navy Paddlesports. From total beginners to elite performers, the RNPA opens the water to all.
Paddle With Purpose
If you want to represent the Royal Navy at UK or overseas competitions, explore our competitive pathways across Olympic aligned disciplines such as Slalom, Sprint & Marathon, and Kayak Cross. If you want to get out with friends, build confidence, or try something new, our community programme runs sessions on rivers, sea, lakes, and indoor pools throughout the UK..
If leadership, coaching or instruction interests you, we offer supported development through national governing body qualifications across all nine paddlesport disciplines. You don’t need prior experience — just the willingness to get on the water.
