Netball is a fast-paced and dynamic sport that develops strength, endurance, agility, teamwork, and mental resilience — making it an ideal fit for Service life.
The Royal Navy Netball Association supports players at every level, from beginners discovering the game to representative athletes competing in Inter-Service fixtures. Our Academy programme and representative squads receive regular coaching from England Netball-qualified coaches, with top-performing players often progressing to represent UK Armed Forces Netball.
With opportunities to train and compete throughout the year, Royal Navy Netball provides an inclusive environment where players can grow both on and off the court.

Regional netball continues to grow across the Royal Navy, with developing teams representing:

- Fleet Air Arm
- Royal Marines
Academy Programme
- Open to players of all abilities - including complete beginners - the Academy offers a welcoming environment to learn, train, and improve.
- Alongside player development, there are opportunities to qualify and progress as an official or umpire.
