Riding the Wind
Royal Navy Hang Gliding and Paragliding is open to all service members. Whether you’re a seasoned pilot or want to experience the thrill of soaring for the first time, we’ll help get you up in the air in no time.
To get involved you’ll need to complete an Elementary Pilot Course and Club Pilot Course (or EU IPPI equivalent). This can be done in just two weeks – weather permitting. Once qualified, the sky is yours. You’ll be able to access full sets of kit, ready-to-go from the shelf, so that you can get in the air and build up your hours.
From your local hill to cross-country flights and as far as the mountains of Colombia, we can’t wait to glide with you!
