Aim
Basic – To instruct new students or those with limited small boat experience or formal training in the skills required to handle a RiB, small patrol craft of up to 24m, or equivalent, by day and night, or in rough weather, and under supervision as part of a boat group. The successful student will be able to participate in Maritime Operations as required by their Service.
Advanced – To instruct students who have completed the basic course, or equivalent, and have gained relevant experience in the skills required to handle a RiB, small patrol craft of up to 24m, or equivalent, by day and night, in rough weather, and as a Boat Group Commander. The successful student will be able to participate and lead a boat group in Maritime Operations as required by their Service.
