Local support

The Royal Navy Family and People Support (RN FPS) team is here to provide you, the Service community, with support and guidance.

Whether you want to chat face-to-face or just browse online advice in your own time, there are lots of different ways to get the information you need.

Our digital team is responsible for managing the Royal Navy Forum and RN FPS social media channels, where you can connect with like-minded people from across the Service.

What can you expect from the RN FPS team?

  • Information Officers working alongside Community Staff and Specialist Welfare Workers to provide face-to-face support at all main Naval units.
  • Hands-on support with relocating, from applying for accommodation to getting information about your area of choice.
  • Advice and guidance for families when the unit is away on deployment, providing the most up to date information.
  • Carefully moderated digital communications channels, including the Royal Navy Forum and Royal Navy Family and People Support (RN FPS) social media pages, which can be accessed 24/7/365.
