It is often difficult to prevent blisters but they can often be as a result of ill-fitting shoes so make sure that your trainers are comfortable. Wearing moisture absorbing socks or thicker socks can help with prevention as well as dusting inside your shoes with talcum powder.

If you do suffer with a blister then the often heal by themselves over a few days. Seek medical advice if they become painful or infected.
