Common Issues
Height restrictions
Some of our roles involve vehicles with restricted spaces such as submarines and aircraft. There are many other roles that do not have height restrictions.
Too young
If you’re leaving school you may be able to join The Royal Navy as an apprentice or cadet.
Too old
With the exception of RFA roles EVERY role in the RN/RM has an age limit including Engineering, Logistics, Chaplain and Reserves . You can also join The Royal Navy as a Reserve alongside your civilian career.
