30 Cdo IX Group Recovery Troop

30 Cdo IX Gp RM provide a Unit run and funded PCRF. 

This PCRF has a part-time recovery troop (Al Faw Tp) that allows patients with debilitating injuries the time to conduct their physical rehabilitation. 

The time afforded to these ranks is 2 to 3 hours everyday of the working week. Al Faw troop usually contains between 17 to 30 ranks, with patients spending anywhere form 3 weeks to 12 Months within the Troop. 

In addition to the members of Al Faw Tp, there are also other downgraded ranks who are still able to conduct there job whist doing there rehab and are therefore distance managed.

The unit has a DPHC Physiotherapist, which has allowed for some small amount of DPHC funded/approved equipment e.g. wobble boards, trampets, mats and steps etc.
