Navigational Warnings

1. A technical sensor, a recovery release system, and a yellow special mark (Fl Y 5s) have been placed to the South East of the North Sturbridge (VQ) north cardinal buoy in the eastern Solent. 

2.  The positions of placement are as follows:

a) Wave Monitor array laid on the seabed in position 50°44’.860N 001°08’.072W.

b) Recovery Release laid on the seabed in position 50°44’.860N 001°08’.115W. 

c) Guard Buoy / Yellow Special Mark (Fl Y 5s) in position 50°44’.889N 001°08’.100W.

3. All assets are expected to remain in place for 6 months.

4. Small craft are requested to remain at a safe distance (at least 50 metres) from the Special Mark while shipping is requested to remain 250 metres clear.  

5. The following Portsmouth NAVWARNs remain in force: 25/21, 3/21, 71/20, 68/20, 57/20, 44/20, 05/20, 04/20, 15/19, 60/18, 75/17, 33/17, 27/14, 57/12 & 52/11.
