1.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that on 20 March 2017, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne officially opened the newly named ‘Princess Royal Jetty’ (50 48.33N 001 06.69W), which has been upgraded in preparation for the arrival of the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers.  

2. The jetty is in the location previously known as Middle Slip (North) and Middle Slip Jetty (South).  With immediate effect, QHM Harbour Control will refer only to Princess Royal Jetty.

 

3. This change will be reflected on the new editions of Admiralty Charts 2629 (Portsmouth Harbour- Southern Part) and 2631 (Portsmouth Harbour), to be published by the UKHO on 30 March 2017.

4. Cancel this LNTM 20 June 2017.
