1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that Surveying Operations and Maintenance Dredging will be conducted in the maintained are within the Portsmouth Harbour and its approach Channel from the 2 to 12 August 2022. 2. The contractor for the works will be Boskalis Westminster Ltd using the plough dredging vessel “TERRA PLANA” (LOA 40m) with the support vessel “SMIT NEYLAND” (LOA 12.4m) carrying out the survey operations. Both vessels will display the appropriate signals when conducting survey and dredging operations. 3. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass at slow speed while dredging operations are being conducted. Both dredging and surveying craft will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch11 throughout the works. 4. QHM Harbour Control will be kept informed of work in progress and will de-conflict movements with other marine traffic. They can be contacted on VHF Ch11 or by telephoning 02392 723694 for latest information. 5. Cancel this Portsmouth LNTM on 15 August 2022.
