1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that maintenance, dredging and site improvement works will be carried out by varying contractors and for differing time scales at Haslar Marina Gosport within Portsmouth Harbour.

2. DREDGING. The dredging operation will be conducted by Jenkins Marine Ltd from 1 September 2022 and expected to last between 4 – 6 weeks. The vessel being used will be the backhoe dredger “DOREEN DORWARD” (LOA 31m) supported by two hopper barges the “NAB” and “NEEDLES” (LOA 44m) working between the marina area and spoil grounds at the Nab Tower and or Hurst Castle.

3. MARINA EXTENTION. Works will be carried out by Walcon Marine Ltd commencing from 18 July 2022 with completion expected by April 2023 the vessels involved in this operation are the “WALCON WOLF” (LOA 24m), “WALCON WIZARD” (LOA 25m) and “WALCON WARRIOR” (LOA 21m). The diagram below shows how the finished marina is intending to be transformed.

4. LIGHT SHIP REMOVAL Baker Trayte Marine will tow the Lightship, “MARY MOUSE II”, up to Trafalgar Wharf around the 12 September 2022 and is expected be to absent from her marina berth for approximately 2 months.

5. WAVE SCREEN REPAIRS Baker Trayte Marine will carry out all refurbishment of the Wave Screen with the majority of the works being conducted from the marina side of the structure but some access will be required from the northern aspect. The vessels to be used in support of this operation are:- “BT 230” Crane Barge (LOA 30m), spud leg crane barge “ASNE” (LOA 40m), MPV “BULLDOG” (LOA 14.8m) and Multi-cat “UNCLE BILL” (LOA 13.2m).

6. Cancel this Portsmouth LNTM on 31 December 2022.
