1.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that diving and underwater operations will take place in the vicinity of a possible historic wreck in the south-east corner of the Spithead Man-of-War Anchorage area, centred on 50°45.268N 001°06.361W between 6 and 8 June 2022.

2.  Diving will be conducted from a 38 feet Dive Support Vessel Wight Spirit. Wight Spirit will remain underway in the vicinity of the dive site which will be marked by a small marker float. In addition to supporting the divers, Wight Spirit will act as a safety boat. Diving operations will take place during daylight hours and during periods when tidal streams are below 0.5kts.

3.  The vessel will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channels 11 and 12 during operations and display flag ALFA when diving is taking place and a close liaison will be maintained with QHM and VTS Southampton.

4.  Mariners are requested to pass at an appropriate speed, minimising wash, and give a wide berth to the site when diving is taking place.

5.  Cancel this LNTM 10 June 2022.
