1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN jointly by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that survey operations will take place in the area between Portsmouth Harbour Station and the Wightlink Hulk Moorings on Thursday 23 or Friday 24 December 2021.
2. The survey, conducted the company GEOSIGHT, will utilise a 7m survey vessel “TARAN” callsign MIDX9, using equipment mounted on a pole mounted on the side of the vessel. No gear will be towed and thus the vessel is not considered to be restricted in its ability to manoeuvre, and will obey the COLREGS during its operations, which should take approximately one hour when on station. TARAN will maintain a listening watch on VHF channels 11 and 16 throughout.
