Use of Drones

HMNB Clyde, as a nuclear facility, is covered by CAA recognised No Fly Zone P611 (underpinned in legislation by The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Nuclear Installations) Regulations 2016) which forbids the transiting of non-authorised aircraft.

It should also be noted that the Clyde Dockyard Port and MoD land surrounding HMNB Clyde (Faslane & Coulport) are covered by a Drone No Fly Zone and any attempted drone activity attracts Police attention.

Please carefully read all information before requesting drone permission
